From the first chip to the finished pellet, production at TILLY is carried out in a well thought-out, state-of-the-art process. Attention paid to purity, as early as the raw material reception – metals and foreign substances are reliably removed. The chips go through precise drying, which ensures the ideal moisture content, before being formed into high-quality pellets in our presses. A vibrating screen separates dust and excess lengths so that a uniform, dimensionally stable product is created in the end.

Before filling, the pellets are again freed from dust and fines, loaded loosely or packed in 15 kg bags. The 15 kg bags are stacked on pallets, covered and wrapped in stretch film for transport. The finished pallets are either sent to the interim storage facility – with a capacity of up to 1,600 tonnes – or are loaded directly.

Our internal quality assurance ensures that only pellets of the highest quality leave the factory. The quality is determined and documented every hour – so that our customers can rely on TILLY pellets: clean, efficient and sustainably produced.
